Zhongshan's attractions and parks witnessed a peak in passenger flow during the National Day holiday.
By 16:00 on October 7, the Tourism Area of Sun Yat-sen's Hometown (excluding the Memorial Park of Xinhai Revolution) received a total of 128,924 visitors during the National Day holiday, down 23.53% from 2018. Besides, 104,334 visitors went to the Museum of Dr Sun Yat-sen and 24,590 to Zhongshan Studio City.
October 7 was the last day of the National Day holiday. In Jinzhong Lake Park, many people enjoyed the popular Muhlenbergia Capillaris. Many citizens marveled at the newly opened Jinzhong Lake Park.
Quite a few people, together with their children and elders, came to play at Zimaling Park. Many people equally came for running and exercising. "Usually, I have no time to exercise because of work. Now, taking advantage of the National Day holiday, I come to the park for running," a citizen surnamed Hou said
At Sun Wen Memorial Park, a security officer said that during this year's National Day holiday, flower statues were placed in forms on the large lawn of the Park. Some activities and a photo exhibition were also organized to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
