The Zhongshan Rural Tourism Month was launched on October 12 in the Tourism Area of Sun Yat-sen's Hometown. Over 10 media agencies along with nearly 500 tourists from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area attended the opening ceremony.

In addition to the main venue in the Tourism Area of Sun Yat-sen's Hometown, there are five more sub-venues are setup for the event. From September to November, Weifeng Ecological Farm in Minzhong Town, Zhongshan Diyin Lake Eco-tourism Resort, Zhongshan Xiangnongzhou Agricultural High-tech Park, Xujing Agricultural Science and Technology Park in South District and Zhongshan Henglan Guangjun Ecological Park will organize up to 30 farm work experience activities, which allow citizens to experience the charm of rural nature and the traditional farming culture.

Taking the opportunity of "Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival", these activities will be organized to fully display Zhongshan's unique rural tourism resources, enhance its rural tourism popularity and boost rural revitalization.
