With the arrival of cold air from the north, the mangrove wetlands at the Dachongkou Sluice in Tanzhou has also welcomed the migratory birds., which coexist here with "aboriginal" egrets. Their "home" is now becoming more and more beautiful -- Zhongshan is building the provincial Jindouwan Wetland Park there.
The wetland park is located along the line from Dachongkou Lantern Sluice to Majiao Sluice in Tanzhou Town. On the basis of the existing environment, the wetland park is primarily designed for recreation, bird watching, plant knowledge popularization, and ecological construction and protection. Wetlands, mangroves, greenways, lotus ponds, trestle roads and other items were the focus of construction.
According to the construction standards of provincial wetland park, the planned construction area of the Jindouwan Wetland Park was about 2,298.4 mu (about 153.2 hectares), with an estimated investment of over 47.8 million yuan. The park will see its final completion in 2020.
