The 29th Zhongshan Charity Parade ( 2016) is held yesterday afternoon. Over 20,000 citizens and guests from all walks of life attend the parade with about 30,000 onlookers enjoying the joyfulness despite the drizzling rain. Over 1 billion yuan has been raised through the past 28 Charity Parades. Starting from last December, the activity has raised 92.8916 million yuan up to yesterday morning, which sets a record high in history. Among the donation, Red Cross Society (Zhongshan Branch) has raised 9.2611 million yuan while Red Cross Societies from 24 townships have raised 83.6305 million yuan.
