The "Crisped Grass Carp King Championship", as a prelude to 2020 China Dongsheng Crisped Grass Carp Food Culture Festival, was held in Dongsheng Town on the morning of November 27.

A total of 24 high-quality crisped grass carp competed for the "King of Crisped Grass Carp" title. In the end, the crisped grass carp selected by Liao Tieqiang from Zhongshan Xinbang Fishery Co Ltd won the championship with a weight of 17.8 kg.

"The Crisped Grass Carp King Championship is a traditional competition and part of the Dongsheng Crisped Grass Carp Food Culture Festival. This year's champion is the most beautiful and the best-shaped one yet," said Huang Yijian, director of the Dongsheng Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, adding that they hoped to spread the crisped grass carp brand and attract more citizens and tourists to pay attention to crisped grass carp products with activities such as the Crisped Grass Carp King Championship.

The Crisped Grass Carp Food Culture Festival opened on November 28. A large tank was set up to exhibit the top 3 winners of the competition.
