The In Search of Tastes of Hometown food selection activity was held at Chen's Ancestral Temple in Lanbian Village, Nanlang Sub-district on June 12.

Fifteen groups of local Cantonese cuisine chefs from Nanlang made their signature dishes in this 400-year-old historical building, aiming to look for and showcase the authentic flavors of their hometown.

The activity established several special awards, such as "The Most Memorable Dishes", "The Most Distinctive Dishes" and "The Most Skillful Chefs" to the satisfaction of all participants.

A table of traditional "Nanlang Nine Main Dishes" was placed at the event site, attracting people's attention and evoking their memories of home.
