The most anticipated Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Zhongshan) "OCT Cup" Dragon Boat Invitational Tournament will kick off at the Zhongshan Dragon Boat Culture Park on June 22.

A total of 39 dragon boat teams from 11 GBA cities, including 2 from Hong Kong, 2 from Macao, 3 from Guangzhou, 1 from Shenzhen and 2 from Foshan, will take part in the competitions of Men's Long Dragon boat, Men's National Standard Dragon Boat, Women's National Standard Dragon Boat, and etc.

Traditional dragon boat displays will be placed at the Dasin Sports Park and Tianzi Wharf, as well as at such shopping malls as Mixc One, Huafa Mall and Dasin Metro Mall. Residents and tourists can experience traditional activities like Leaping Over the Dragon Gate, on-shore dragon boat rowing and etc to explore the dragon boat culture.

During the 3-day Dragon Boat Festival holiday, a range of performances related to the dragon boat culture will be presented to residents and tourists on the Qijiang River (Xingzhong Plaza section), including motorboats, water crafts, sailboats and SUPs (stand-up paddling).

In addition, over 330 intangible cultural heritage activities in 140 categories will be carried out across the city during the holiday, such as:
