August 22, the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, marked the traditional Qixi Festival, or Chinese Valentine's Day. A total of 127 couples got married at the Zhongshan Marriage Registration Center.

On the day, a total of 192 couples registered for marriage across the city.

"From this year on, Qixi Festival is not only a day devoted to love, but also our wedding anniversary," said Miu Jiamin as she gazed at her husband with a sweet smile.

The Zhongshan Marriage Registration Center held special ceremonies to issue marriage certificates to the new couples, who made a commitment to love in the presence of their relatives and friends.

Thirty-six couples took part in a total of 7 marriage certificate issuing ceremonies held at the Zhongshan Marriage Registration Center on the day.
