The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently announced the list of products up for evaluation for the 2022 China Excellent Industrial Design (CEID) standard, and a total of 521 products made the list.

Products from two enterprises in Zhongshan's Gangkou Town were shortlisted, including the "2.1 Channel Ultra-thin Planar Stereo Smart Speaker (TT200)" of Zhongshan City Richsound Electronic Industrial Ltd and "Space Capsule Children's Safety Seat" of Zhuopin Creative Technology (Zhongshan) Co Ltd.

In recent years, Zhongshan has promoted the steady development of the industrial design industry. Currently, Zhongshan has one national industrial design centers, 17 provincial enterprise-based industrial design centers and 33 municipal industrial design centers.
