The 137th Canton Fair opened on April 15, with some 31,000 enterprises participating. The number of enterprises taking part in the export sections exceeds 30,000 for the first time, and more than 200,000 overseas buyers have signed up for the event. A total of 269 enterprises from Zhongshan take part in the fair this time.

The 137th Canton Fair is held in three phases. Phase one is themed on advanced manufacturing, with 196 Zhongshan enterprises participating to showcase their products in such competitive sectors as household appliances, lighting fixtures and hardware.

For the first time, a special zone spanning 4,200 square meters is set up for service robots, attracting 46 leading robot makers.

Union Optech is the only company from Zhongshan to take part in the special zone, competing on the same stage with UniTree, Elephant Robotics and other industry leaders.

The smart logistics robots and service robots Union Optech displays on-site catch eyes of buyers. The most frequent words heard from them were "amazing" and "interesting".
