A delegation consisting of officials from 15 consulates in Guangzhou including Singapore, Italy, Vietnam, South Korea came to Zhongshan to inspect its economic and social development yesterday afternoon, which is the last stop for their inspection along the West Bank of the Pearl River.

Acting Mayor Xue Xiaofeng warmly welcomed the delegation and introduced to them the history, economy and investment environment of Zhongshan yesterday evening. Ang Chay Chuan, head of the delegation, said that Zhongshan is an important economic and cultural center in PRD area, bearing great potential and commercial opportunities and having a solid foundation in healthcare service. He is confident that the visit to Zhongshan will become the highlight of the trip.

The delegation paid a visit to Mingyang Wind Power Cooperation and Zhongshan National Health Technology Park in Torch High-tech Industrial Development Zone to inspect new energy and medical industries today.
