In January 2011, the total export & import of Zhongshan have achieved steady growth with the total value amounted to $ 3.05 billion, an increase of 30.7% over last year, of which exports 2.14 billion, an increase of 29%, imports $910million, an increase of 34.9% and achieved a trade surplus of 1.23 billion.

It is learned that in January of this year, the total value of Guangdong export & import is $74.17 billion, an increase of 51.7%, of which exports $42.98 billion, up51.8%, imports $31.19 billion, an increase of 51.6%.

Zhongshan ranks at 6th place for import and export and the export of Zhongshan ranks 5th in Guangdong province.
