The Vice Mayor Han Zesheng met with the delegation of Canas, Costa Rica lead by Mr. Rong Baoquan, the Chinese Costa Rica yesterday. Mr. Rong Baoquan had been immigrated to Costa Rica from his hometown Sanxiang Town, Zhongshan for 42 years. He accompanied the delegation of Canas, Costa Rica and made their first visit to Zhongshan. Mr. Louis said that 90% of the Chinese in Canas are from Sanxiang Town. They made an indispensible contribution to the development of the local economy. The Free Trade Agreement between China and Costa Rica, expected to be signed soon, is sure to bring both Zhongshan and Canas new opportunities. Animal husbandry is highly developed in Canas and therefore it boasts of high-quality beef. Moreover, Canas is rich in wind resources and water resources. Louis hoped that with this visit, they can introduce their beef to Zhongshan people and bring back Zhongshan? wind power technique.
