Meiling Appliance announced on April 19 that it sub-company Zhongshan Changhong Appliance will invest 6.724 million dollars in Pakistan to produce refrigerators The investment is to set a regional operation center in south Asia market and realize localized producing and sales.

According to the announcement, the total investment of the project is 15.31 million dollars, among which Zhongshan Changhong 6.724 million and RUBA from UAE 6.586 million.

Meiling Appliance and its sub company Sichuan Changhong Air Conditioner will add 40 million yuan for Zhongshan Changhong as capital. The project will reach a production capacity of 160 thousand refrigerators a year.
