Mayor Chen Liangxian met with CNOOC vice general manager Wang Jiaxiang and his fellows in Zhongshan Municipal Government yesterday afternoon. Municipal leaders like Xie Zhongfan and Li Jun were present at the meeting.

Wang Jiaxiang hopes to get a better understanding of the clean-energy projects in Zhongshan by this visit. Wang Jiaxiang says that Zhongshan is best in Guangdong in terms of clean-energy structure and location and that CNOOC and Zhongshan share a deep cooperative tradition and friendship.

Chen Liangxian says CNOOC and Zhongshan not only keep a deep friendship, but also make great progress in cooperation. CNOOC’s investment in Zhongshan’s clean energy will help improve the air conditions and upgrade traditional industries. He hopes CNOOC can invest more in Zhongshan to further promote the upgrading of local economy and society.
