On the afternoon of August 12th, Zhongshan-Colombo investment fair was held at the capital city of Sri Lanka. Enterprises from both sides signed 4 contracts, and the total investment amounts to 30.2 million yuan.

Mayor Chen Liangxian introduced the investment environment of Zhongshan and showed great confidence in building Colombo the important platform of Sri Lanka and South Asia for Zhongshan products.

The investment fair is a key step for Zhongshan city to expand its market in ASEAN and South Asian area. Sri Lanka is the most liberalized economy in south Asia and one of the most attractive places for investors. Zhongshan and Sri Lanka has complementary resource, economic structure and market, which offer a great cooperative potential for future cooperation.
