Mayor Chen Liangxian met with Bo Zhidong, Consul-General of Switzerland in Guangzhou, and Forster, Chairman of Guangzhou Branch of Swiss-Chinese Chamber of Commerce yesterday morning, exchanging views on closer cooperation between the two sides. Chen focuses on the on-construction Zhongshan-Switzerland Industrial Park, expresses welcome to more technological and innovative Swiss enterprises to settle down there and enjoy the good service from Zhongshan Government.

Zhongshan-Switzerland Industrial Park is located in Cuiheng New District, specializing in health drugs, health food, precision machinery, etc. It has begun investment promotion, for which Zhongshan will hold Guangdong-Zurich Investment Promotion together with Guangdong Investment Promotion Bureau in Zurich in late Oct. During that time, they will pay visits to Novartis Group, SSM Textile Machinery, Swiss-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Swiss Mechanical Engineers Institute, etc. to advertise the park.
