Mayor Chen Liangxian met a group led by Bo Zhidong, the new Consul General of Swiss Confederation in Guangzhou on 23rd September, mainly discussing cooperation on aspects of Sino-Swiss Industrial Park and vocational and technical education and so on.

Mayor Chen Liangxian pointed out that as an important partner of Zhongshan in Europe, Swiss has carried out cooperation with Zhongshan in various fields. By taking the opportunity of establishment of Sino-Swiss Industry Park, he hoped the Consul General to recommend Zhongshan and the industry park to other Swiss enterprises and introduce more excellent enterprises. In addition, cooperation in education can be promoted to upgrade vocational education level in Zhongshan as Swiss owns many characteristic and excellent education traditions and patterns. He also expressed the wish of establishing twin-city relationship with a city in Swiss to further enhance more friendly exchange.
