The China Customs magazine recently released the "Top 100 Foreign Trade Cities in China in 2019" list. Zhongshan ranked 25th, up 4 places from 2018.

Shenzhen was re-elected as the top city for foreign trade, and Guangzhou, Dongguan and Zhuhai made the top 10. China Customs pointed out that with the opening of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High-speed Railway and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge as well as the issuance and implementation of the "Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hongkong-Macao Greater Bay Area", foreign trade development in the Pearl River Delta shines with potential.

According to statistics from the Guangdong Sub-Administration of China Customs, in the first half of this year, Guangdong's total value of foreign trade was 3.06 trillion yuan, with a year-on-year decrease of 7.1% , accounting for 21.5% of China's total foreign trade value.
