Western District Office of Zhongshan Municipal People’s Government held a working conference yesterday, urging to speed up the rebuilding of old urban areas.

The rebuilding of Auto Street on Caihong Avenue, a key pilot project for an overall reform of service industry in Western District, has passed the initial planning stage and the government will put forward a detailed plan soon. The 5600-meter avenue will expand the auto industry chain to cover the services of second-hand auto market, auto decoration market, auto parts and accessories market, etc. Through such measures as overall planning and scenic spot building, Shalang Auto Market will be built into an Auto Industrial Park.
