Zhongshan Bonded Logistics Center and Freight Car Entry and Exit Checkpoint opened yesterday, while the original Shiqi and Tanzhou Checkpoint officially closed.
Zhongshan Customs made a comprehensive test and monitoring on July 3 to 4. The two-day test showed that all the procedures went on smoothly. At 10:36 a.m. yesterday, a container truck of Browave Cooperation went through the customs and completed all the process of 100 fiber-optic couplers within five minutes. According to a Customs declarer, the new checkpoint was close to the express way, which is much more convenient than before. 221 cars were checked at the new checkpoint and 450 customs declarations were dealt with that day.
The 10 entry and exit stations and 36 checking stations at the new checkpoint satisfy totally the enterprises’ needs of transiting export.
