Shaxi government and Hanyun Mining Corporation, the leading enterprise of rosewood furniture, reached an agreement recently to build a national rosewood industrial zone in Shaxi. The planned cultural industrial zone of rosewood furniture is the largest one of the country and will be located at Haochong Rosewood Commercial Center of Shaxi with a total investment of 600 million yuan. The first phase of the construction is 110 thousand square meters.

According to the blueprint, the cultural industrial park consists of seven parts: Quality Rosewood Design Center, Quality Rosewood E-trade Center, Quality Rosewood Logistics Center, Traditional Handicrafts Center, Rosewood Cultural Street, Rosewood Expo Garden and supplementary apartments. The zone will become the first modern comprehensive rosewood furniture industrial zone in the country.
