Recently, the startup ceremony of the 2011 Guangdong Energy Conservation Month and the opening ceremony of the 1st International (Guangdong) Energy Conservation Expo were held in Guangzhou. China’s Food Industry Demonstration Base in Huangpu Town has been authorized as one of the first batch of recycling economy bases co-constructed by province and municipality. This is the only one of its kind in Zhongshan.

It is reported that China’s Food Industry Demonstration Base has integrated services for supply of hot steam, product testing and inspection, sewage disposal, material storage, waste disposal, and product exhibition. The integrated services aim to support the enterprises technology research and clean production to ensure sustainable development. To promote sustainable development of economy, Huangpu Town will make great efforts to promote recycling economy and clean production.
