The Zhongshan (Banfu) Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Industrial Park hosted two happy events on October 21.
The ground breaking ceremony for private company Zhongshan Neptum Sanitary Ware Co Ltd's headquarters base took place in the morning at the park. The project will cost about 450 million yuan.
Founded in 2001, Neptum is currently a leading domestic company in its field, with a shower product capacity of 600,000 units per year. The company sell about 80% of its products mainly to Europe and America, with an export volume ranking first among its peers in China.
The 80-mu project in Banfu invested by Neptum will become its new corporate headquarters. The project is expected to achieve an annual output of 800 million yuan and an annual corporate tax of 35 million yuan.
In the afternoon, CCL Group from Canada signed a contract with the Government of Banfu Town to settle in the park. It will invest 130 million yuan in the construction of an intelligent electronic sign project.
This project covers an area of about 20 mu and mainly develops, produces and sells products for identification, labeling solution, functional components and anti-counterfeiting technology of intelligent electronic products. It is estimated that the annual output value of this project will reach 220 million yuan and the annual tax generated by the project will reach 13 million yuan.
CCL, headquartered in Toronto, Canada and listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, is a global specialty packaging pioneer and leader in the intelligent electronic sign industry.
Until now, 23 projects have settled in the Zhongshan (Banfu) Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Industrial Park, involving a total investment of 9.5 billion yuan, with an estimated annual output value of 15.6 billion yuan and an annual tax of 980 million yuan.
