The foundation stone laying ceremony was held on October 22 for the "Kinghood Gold & Jewelry Cultural and Creative Complex" project, the first comprehensive industry chain platform for the gold & jewelry industry in Zhongshan's Tsuihang New District (THND).

Located at the core part of the start-up area of THND, this project is invested by Shenzhen Kinghood Holding Group Co Ltd, one of the top 500 enterprises in China, and constructed and operated by Zhongshan Kinghood Technology Co Ltd.

The project has an investment of about 2 billion yuan, covering an area of 50 mu (about 33333.3 square meters) and a total construction area of 300,000 square meters. With the gold industry as the core, cultural and creative jewelry products as the carriers, the project will build a large complex integrating creative research and development, intelligent manufacturing, e-commerce, trade and logistics, sales exhibition and leisure shopping.

Upon completion, the project is expected to drive an annual output value of 3 billion yuan for THND and directly create more than 2,000 jobs.

Kinghood Gold & Jewelry Cultural and Creative Complex plans to introduce more than 200 leading design, R&D, intellectual manufacturing, culture and creativity, exhibition, e-commerce and retail enterprises related to the gold industry.
