The Zhongshan-Macao Talent Cooperation Forum was held in Tanzhou Town on the afternoon of March 30. Over 300 outstanding talented persons and entrepreneurs from Zhongshan and Macao discussed methods to attract talent and improve cooperation.

Lin Jiang, a professor of the Department of Economics of the Lingnan College of Sun Yat-sen University and deputy director of the Center for Studies of Hong Kong, Macao and the Pearl River Delta, gave a keynote speech. Furthermore, Zhu Yizhun, director of the School of Pharmacy of the Macau University of Science and Technology, Fu Mingtao, president of Zhongshan XG Intelligent System Co Ltd, and others discussed how to deepening talent exchanges and cooperation between Zhongshan and Macao.

Tanzhou Town also issued a set of working measures on encouraging young talent from Hong Kong and Macao to come to Tanzhou for innovation, entrepreneurship, internship and practice. Many guests also attended the unveiling ceremony of the Tanzhou Hong Kong and Macao Youth Talent Business Base.

In recognition of contributions made by various experts to the high-quality development of Tanzhou, the town govenment selected and awarded 34 outstanding talented persons.
