Zhongshan recently issued a notice on key construction project plans for 2022. A total of 215 projects are planned this year, with a total investment of 463.167 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 65.566 billion yuan.

The 215 projects include 49 infrastructure projects, 151 industrial projects, and 15 livelihood security projects.

Multiple projects with a planned investment exceeding 1 billion yuan will start construction this year, including the "Zhongshan Science and Technology Innovation Park", with a total planned investment of 2.786 billion yuan, which will be under construction from 2022 to 2024. It will consist of the Zhongshan Photonics Science Center, the Zhongshan Institute of Advanced Cryogenic Technology and the Zhongshan Industrial Technology Research Center.

The other two to be started are the Zhongshan Unicom's 5G Network Construction and Application project (with a total investment of 1.1 billion yuan) and Phase III of the Tsuihang New District Intelligent City Construction Project of Zhongshan (with a total investment of 300 million yuan).
