A signing ceremony was held on February 10 for the Guhe Traditional Chinese Medicine Industrial Park project in Sanxiang Town. The park costs a total investment of 600 million yuan. It covers an area of 4.4 hectares, with a total floor area of about 170,000 square meters. The park will integrate production, marketing and storage as a comprehensive base for the development of TCM.

Guhe Traditional Chinese Medicine Industrial Park is located at Guhe Building Materials Market in the Guhe-Xinxu area. The original Guhe Building Materials Market mainly sells wholesale building materials, but has been categorized as an inefficient industrial park. Zhongshan Longyao Industrial Investment Co Ltd, Guangdong Tiansheng Pharmaceutical Co Ltd and other enterprises have joined hands and developed cooperation in such areas as supply chain management of Chinese medicinal materials and product channel services to renovate and upgrade it into the new Guhe Traditional Chinese Medicine Industrial Park.

The newly signed project epitomizes the renovation of inefficient industrial parks in Sanxiang Town. As planned, four industrial parks will be renovated, including Dakengtang in Baishi Village, Guhe-Xinxu area, Madou in Baishi Village and Maowan Industrial Park. No less than 50 hectares of inefficient industrial parks in Sanxiang Town will be demolished and cleared up by the end of this year.
