Shenwan Town is working to rapidly develop its port economy, promote all-for-one tourism, and build a modern, influential, innovative, beautiful, and hospitable waterfront new town on the west bank of the Pearl River.

It is reported that Shenwan has signed 13 high-quality projects with a total investment of 2.637 billion yuan, including the CNOOC Green Transportation, Southern Cross-border E-commerce Service Center, and Huanran Biotechnology projects. Additionally, Shenwan Port's only cold storage facility has been built within the wharf supervision area of Gongbei Customs District, and it has obtained the qualifications as a supervision site for fruit, grain and timber.

"We have promoted the construction of six key industrial projects with a total investment of 1.304 billion yuan, including Phase III of the Jianglong Shipbuilding Project, Phase I of the Gao Zhuo Intelligent Industrial Park Project and Phase I of the Yingrun Industrial Park Project." Lin Haodong, town mayor of Shenwan, introduced that two modern industrial parks over 1000-mu, namely Waisha Science and Innovation Park and Shenxi Industrial Park, will be built this year to attract quality enterprises.

For the inefficient industrial park renovation campaign, Shenwan plans to demolish at least 800 mu of inefficient industrial parks this year, and to start the construction of new high-quality factories.
