On the morning of March 31, the buildings of the old Zhangjiabian beverage factory in Torch Development Zone started to be demolished. This is one of the fifth set of inefficient rural industrial park transformation projects in TDZ. Zhangjiabian Shengli Industrial Intelligence Cooperation Park will replace the old factory.

The old factory covers an area of 46 mu, and its annual rent is 1.2 million yuan. Some 360 million yuan will be invested to build a comprehensive, eco-friendly science and technology park with company headquarters, R&D, and production. The new building covers an area of 110,000 square meters (including the underground garage). This new industrial park will be mainly used to attract next-gen digital information technology enterprises, with an estimated output value of 1 billion yuan.

After the transformation, the industrial output value the land will increase from 13 million yuan to 1 billion yuan, and the annual rental income of the village will increase from 1.2 million yuan to about 20 million yuan. It will be a new model for the transformation, upgrading, and development of village-level industrial parks in TDZ.

To commemorate Premier Zhou Enlai's praise for Zhangjiabian in 1958, the name "Zhangjiabian Shengli Industrial Intelligence Cooperation Park" was promosed.
