The Guangdong Large-scale Industrial Cluster Districts On-site Investigation and Exchange Meeting for 2022 H1 was held in Zhongshan on July 7. Participants visited Zhongshan Longsys Electronics and Cuiheng Tower to investigate and learn about the construction of the Zhongshan Large-scale Industrial Cluster District and exchanged views.
The Zhongshan Large-scale Industrial Cluster District is one of the first seven large-scale industrial cluster districts in Guangdong, with a total planned area of 458.69 square kilometers. It covers parts of 11 towns and districts including Torch Development Zone and Tsuihang New District, and its starting area covers 96.14 square kilometers.
At present, Zhongshan is developing an industrial spatial development pattern involving two core areas, two industrial belts and multiple industrial parks.
According to the plan, the two core areas refer to Tsuihang Science and Technology Innovation Center and Torch Industrial Development Center, the two industrial belts refer to the Demonstration Belt for Innovative Development and the Industrial Agglomeration Belt for Advanced Manufacturing, and the multiple industrial parks include the Technological Innovation and Headquarter Economy Industrial Park, the R&D and High-end Manufacturing Industrial Park, the Clean Energy and Intelligent Equipment Industrial Park, the Healthcare and Medicine Industrial Park, the Intelligent Home Appliances Industrial Park, the Optoelectronic and Intelligent Terminal Industrial Park, the New Materials Industrial Park and etc.
Meanwhile, Zhongshan will construct 10 theme industrial parks, which cover a total planned area of 275,300 mu.
