The College of Forestry and Landscape Architecture of South China Agricultural University (SCAU) on August 5 signed a cooperation agreement with the government of Henglan Town on rural revitalization.

The cooperation aims to better promote rural revitalization in Zhongshan by relying on Henglan's provincial modern agricultural industrial park and the industrial base for the cultivation of flowers and trees, and on the scientific and technological expertise of SCAU.

SCAU will build a teaching practice base to provide specialized personnel, key technologies and solutions for Henglan's industrial transformation and upgrading, as well as organize a team of rural science and technology commissioners to help Henglan establish a modern technological innovation system.

In addition, SCAU will fully utilize its resource advantages in the cultivation and implementation of Lingnan flowers and trees, gardening, landscape design, and the upgrading and transformation of rural industries to help Henglan create a beautiful countryside.
