The 2020 Guangdong Province Demonstration Intelligent Manufacturing Pilot Projects was announced on August 14, with 3 Zhongshan-based projects on the list.

The selected Zhongshan-based projects are the "environmental denim garment flexible production intelligent manufacturing project" of Zhongshan Yida Clothing Co Ltd, the "external air-conditioner unit production transformation project" of TCL Air-Conditioner Co Ltd, and the "PDM+SE system vacuum coating equipment durability intelligent manufacturing project" of Guangdong SMEE Co Ltd.

A total of 88 projects were selected as Guangdong Province's 2020 exemplary intelligent manufacturing pilot projects this time.

In the first half of this year, the Zhongshan Industry and Information Technology Bureau provided reliable financial support for enterprises to implement technological transformation by guiding and recommending enterprises to actively apply for funding for provincial technological transformation support projects. Some 84 enterprises have applied for provincial special support funds in the first half of the year, and 107 million yuan has been distributed for technological transformation support.
