At the 2021 Zhongshan Trade and Investment Fair opened on March 28, the West Bay Digital Economy Industry Platform and the Sino-German (Greater Bay Area) Industrial Internet Innovation Incubation Center projects were contracted to be built in Tsuihang New District (THND).

The West Bay Digital Economy Industry Platform will be built by Boxi (Guangdong) Technology Co Ltd. Basing on such digital economy industry cluster carriers as blockchain, AI, IoT, big data and cloud computing, it will introduce supporting resources for finance and taxation, law, banking and more to create an industrial ecosystem for the digital economy industry in THND.

The Sino-German (Greater Bay Area) Industrial Internet Innovation Incubation Center is officially certified by Siemens, who will appoint core teams to participate in the construction and empowerment of industrial IoT upgrading services and other items for small and medium enterprises in Zhongshan. The center will be committed to engage in intelligent software development and enterprise's digital upgrade. It includes an industrial IoT R&D center, pilot scale test platforms, an achievement transformation center, an enterprise digital empowerment center, and the industrial IoT association (alliance) for the Greater Bay Area.
