Zhongshan on May 12 held the Forum on Accelerated Integration into the Domestic Circulation. Many experts, including Chang Xiuze, professor of the Academy of Macroeconomic Research, Wen Kui, former president of Capital University of Economics and Business, Zhu Heliang, professor of the College of Economics and Management of Beijing University of Technology, Yi Shaohua, director of the Market Circulation and Consumption Research Office of the National Academy of Economic Strategy, CASS, and Zhangjie, professor of the Institute of China's Economic Reform & Development of Renmin University of China, were invited to offer suggestions on how to accelerate Zhongshan's integration into domestic circulation.

At the forum, these 5 experts delivered keynote speeches and put forward many suggestions for Zhongshan to utilize mutual drivers and integrate itself into new development paths regarding the city's positioning, development methods, how to upgrade the industrial chain and innovation, construction of modern distribution system, cultivation of emerging industries, brand building, and market expansion.
