The German Severin Coffee Machine Manufacturing Base, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan, started construction in Maowan Village, Sanxiang Town days before.

The project covers an area of about 108 mu, with a total construction area of 242,000 square meters. Its estimated annual output value upon completion is about 3 billion yuan, with an annual tax revenue of about 50 million yuan. It is expected to be the largest coffee machine manufacture base in Guangdong. The base focuses on the R&D, design, manufacturing, the sales and leasing of coffee machine products.

The base will be built in 3 phases. The first 6 buildings will be built in phase I, including the R&D building (headquarters building) and several standard production plants.

Severin Household Electric Appliances (Shenzhen) Co Ltd is a subsidiary Severin established in Shenzhen in 1995. Founded in 1892, Severin is a century-old brand in Europe that mainly produces small kitchen appliances such as coffee machines, milk frothers and barbecue grills.
