The Zhongshan Cross-border E-commerce Pilot Zone has offered customs clearance services for one year now, and it continues to be well-operated and efficient.
So far, cross-border e-commerce businesses can be done mainly through "9710" and "9810" modes in Zhongshan, and a total of 147 enterprises have applied for cross-border e-commerce permissions and built nearly 50 overseas warehouses with a combined storage area of over 50,000 square meters.
On June 15, 2020, the first cross-border e-commerce general export business under "9610" mode was cleared, marking the official launch of the Zhongshan Cross-border E-commerce Pilot Zone.
At present, Zhongshan is promoting the development of such new business forms as comprehensive bonded zone building and market procurement. The Zhongshan Cross-border E-commerce Management and Integrated Service Platform project has passed expert acceptance review, laying a solid foundation for promoting Zhongshan's construction of an "electronic port" and cross-border e-commerce digitalization.
