Zhongshan has started the mid-year review of the annual key project plan. The number of key projects in 2021 has increased to 387 from 375 at the beginning of the year, and the planned investment in key construction projects this year has increased by 1.9 billion yuan. The new projects are mainly industry-related.

After the adjustment, the number of key construction projects has increased from 224 to 240, the total investment has increased from 408.16 billion yuan to 415.33 billion yuan, and the planned annual investment has increased by 1.9 billion yuan from 52.74 billion yuan to 54.64 billion yuan. Factoring the other 147 existing key projects, the number of key projects in Zhongshan this year now totals 387.

The third quarter is the golden period for the start of key project construction. In order to accelerate the construction of key projects a notification system will be adopted this month to share the monthly progress of each project. Projects with delayed preliminary work and slower than average investment progress will receive a warning.
