The "IYLC Cup" 2021 2021 Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition for International Returned Overseas Chinese Talent started on the morning of August 26 at the International Roadshow Center of the TJIC project in Xiaolan, Zhongshan.

This year's competition will be held from August 26 to November 12, and it is comprised of 4 stages. The incubation period of the projects will be one year from November.

The competition focuses on such strategic emerging industries as biomedicine, intelligent manufacturing and next-generation information technology and attracts young innovative and entrepreneurial talent from various fields and industries. It also provides full life circle services for of "three funds, six innovation bases, eight renowned mentors, and ten municipal investment and talent policies" to create a brand-new incubation platform for innovation projects of overseas Chinese talent.

This competition is planned to be held for 3 consecutive years to cultivate 30 projects every year and introduce 100 projects to Zhongshan within 3 years.
