The 27th China (Guzhen) International Lighting Fair opened at Guzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on the morning of October 22. A total of 3,300 enterprises participated in the event with 8 venues covering an exhibition area of over 1.5 million square meters.

At the opening ceremony, Guzhen was awarded  the titles of "Lighting Capital of China" and "Model Lighti Industry Cluster", while some enterprises were awarded the "High Quality Development of Lighting Capital" title.

Multiple projects were also signed at the opening ceremony. For example, the Guzhen Town People's Government signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Sinohydro Corporation. The Sinohydro Corporation Engineering Bureau 15 plans to invest a total of 3 billion yuan in the economic, social and energy development of Guzhen Town to boost its high-quality economic development.
