With the theme of "Blooming in Prosperity, Fragrance of Zhongshan", the 2021 China (Zhongshan) Flowers and Trees Trade Fair opened on December 3 in its permanent site - the Zhongshan Henglan Xijiang River Beautiful Countryside Demonstration Belt - for the first time. With both online and offline activities, the event welcomes visitors and viewers across the country.

At the opening ceremony, the China Flowers Association signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the development of the horticulture industry with Zhongshan People's Government, which will utilize its expertise and resources to help Zhongshan's horticulture industry expedite transformation and upgrading. The South China Flowers and Trees Online Trading Platform was put into use, aiming to develop an integrated transaction model basing on flowers and trees trading with such supporting services as warehousing and logistics.

The unveiling ceremony of the Guangdong Flower Association Bougainvilleas Branch and a flower exhibition award ceremony were held at the opening ceremony. Many large-scale product orders were made and industrial investment framework agreements were reached .

The Southern Flower Border Exhibition, initiated by multiple organizations in Guangdong, will be permanently held in the site as part of the high-quality resources for the development of the culture and tourism industry. People in Zhongshan now have a new place to enjoy the charm of flowers and trees and the gardening culture.
