The 6th Drone World Congress 2022, with the theme of "Future of Drone", opened in Shenzhen on July 23. Affected by the epidemic, more than 4,000 Chinese and foreign experts and entrepreneurs communicated at the main forum and 12 sub-forums through online and offline channels.
During the congress, the Zhongshan People's Government signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Shenzhen UAV Industry Association and the Shenzhen Zhuzhongjiang UAV Industrial Park Operation Co Ltd. The three parties will make joint efforts to introduce Shenzhen's UAV manufacturing resources and technologies to Zhongshan.
During the main forum, the Flying PARK UAV (Equipment) Industrial Park that is located in Zhongshan's Banfu Town made its debut. Shenzhen Zhuzhongjiang UAV Industrial Park Operation Co Ltd, the investor of the park, led 8 leading upstream and downstream enterprises of the UAV industry, including Harwar International Aviation, Chasing-Innovation and DAMODA, to sign investment intention agreements with the Banfu Town Government.
The Flying PARK has a planned area of 1,000 mu, with a total construction area of about 2 million square meters and a total investment of about 12 billion yuan. Upon completion, it will be home to more than 800 upstream and downstream enterprises of the UAV industry, and its annual output value is estimated to reach 18 billion yuan.
