Zhongshan Customs conducted an inspection on the production of mooncakes for export in Juxiangyuan's workshop on August 25.
For the first time, the company this year exported mooncakes to Panama, Peru and other new destinations.
According to Zhongshan Customs, Zhongshan's mooncake exports hit a new high and have ranked first in China for the 17th consecutive year. From January to August this year, 963.2 tons of mooncakes made in Zhongshan were exported to more than 30 countries and regions, with a value of 79.905 million yuan, up 9.7% and 9.9% respectively year-on-year.
