The 2022 list of provincial specialty product villages and specialty industry towns were announced recently. Ten villages and two towns in Zhongshan made the list.

The recognized villages and towns include Xinmao Village in Henglan Town (flowers and seedlings), Tiebian Village in Henglan Town (flowers and seedlings), Zhaofeng Village in Huangpu Town (preserved meat), Shijun Village in Huangpu Town (aquaculture), Xianan Village in Gangkou Town (aquaculture), Qunzhong Community in Gangkou Town (aquaculture), Xijie Community in Gangkou Town (aquaculture), Baishi Village in Sanxiang Town (livestock breeding), Guangfu Village in Banfu Town (aquaculture) and Fusha Village in Fusha Town (aquaculture), and Tanzhou Town (aquaculture) and Banfu Town (aquaculture).
