The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs recently announced the 12th list of national "One Village with One Product" demonstration villages and towns. A total of 396 villages and towns across the country made the list, of which 18 villages and towns are from Guangdong Province, including Zhongshan's Sanjiao Town (hybrid snakehead fish) and Henglan Town (flowers and seedlings).

Sanjiao is a traditional fishery town with a total agricultural production area of about 45,800 mu and an aquaculture area of 28,000 mu. In 2021, it reported a snakehead fish breeding area of more than 11,000 mu, with an annual output of about 80,000 tons and a value of more than 1.4 billion yuan.

Henglan's leading industry is horticulture and the town has a total planting and operating area of about 30,000 mu. Now it produces more than 1,000 species of flowers and trees, which are sold to more than 30 provinces and cities including Fujian, Guangxi, Hunan, Sichuan and Chongqing, with annual sales of more than 5 billion yuan.
