The opening ceremony of the Overseas Chinese Exchange Conference on Promotion of High-quality Development (Zhongshan) and the Zhongshan Smart Lighting Hall at Hong Kong International Lighting Fair is held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on April 12. 

As the organizers, Zhongshan Overseas Chinese Affairs Bureau, Zhongshan Development and Reform Bureau, Zhongshan Bureau of Commerce and Zhongshan Investment Promotion Bureau planned such events as the Overseas Chinese Exchange Conference on Promotion of High-quality Development (Zhongshan), the opening ceremony of the Zhongshan Smart Lighting Hall at Hong Kong International Lighting Fair and the Zhongshan Modern Service Industry Promotion Conference.

Some 150 people, including overseas Chinese leaders, overseas Chinese businessmen and foreign friends from over 10 countries and regions as well as entrepreneurs from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, have signed up for the events. It is expected that 10 projects will be signed at the events.
