The Forum for Top 100 Enterprises of China Light Industry was held in Beijing on July 20. At the forum, the 2022 list of China's top 200 light industry enterprises was unveiled, and Zhongshan-based enterprises MLS, Vatti and Lanju made the list.

The enterprises on the list are in 24 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country, covering 41 light industry sectors such as home appliances, food manufacturing, wine making and paper making. Midea, Haier and Gree were the top three.

Lanju made the list for the fourth consecutive year. It has won such titles as National High-tech Enterprise, National Green Factory and Enterprise with Outstanding Contributions to Green Development of the Industry. In 2022, the company invested 450 million yuan to build an intelligent plant, hoping to build a "lighthouse factory".
