The 2023 Xiangshan Biomedical Academician Forum will take place on November 9 in Zhongshan's Cuiheng New District. Renowned experts in the biomedicine field, including Rao Zihe, an academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Yang Baofeng, an academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and a professor of Harbin Medical University, and Shu Hongbing and Su Guohui, academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences, will be invited to the forum.

Some of the experts will be hired as consultants for the development of the biomedical industry of Cuiheng New District during the forum.

The biomedical industry is one of the top 10 pillar modern industries of Zhongshan. At present, Zhongshan is home to a number of leading enterprises, such as Akeso, and industrial platforms, such as the National Health Technology Park.

Cuiheng New District (Nanlang District included) is Zhongshan'snew hub for the development of biomedical industry. Over the past years, some 156 enterprises, including Perfect China, Wanhan Pharmaceutical and Sinotau, as well as 38 enterprises above designated size, have moved into the South China Modern TCM City.
