Solid hydrogen-powered drone Cuiheng 1, developed and manufactured by QYZN, a technology company in Beijing, made its maiden flight on Ma'an Island in Cuiheng New District on May 28.

Cuiheng 1 features a loading capacity of 30kg and multi-function rotor design. It is equipped with the world's leading MOF (metal-organic framework) solid hydrogen power system, which can run stably at normal temperature and low pressure to ensure efficient and safe operation.

Experts, scholars and entrepreneurs from Shenzhen, Zhongshan and Beijing in such fields as drone equipment, hydrogen energy and energy storage witnessed this historic moment together.

They also attended a summit forum on hydrogen energy and energy storage held in Cuiheng New District.
