The Zhongshan sub-venue of the 23rd Guangdong Seed Expo, also the Zhongshan Exhibition of New Agricultural Varieties and Technologies (Autumn 2024), kicked off at the Zhongshan Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Promotion and Demonstration Base in Minzhong Sub-district on December 10.

The expo set up 12 exhibition areas, showcasing some 400 new crop varieties belonging to 14 species, such as corn, leafy vegetable, pepper, tomato and wax gourd.

The base also promoted 9 new pieces of technology, including green crop pest prevention and control, topdressing of trace elements on the leaves, and industrial breeding of vegetable.

The expo will be open from December 10 to 13 and from December 16 to 20.
